A senior who’ll headline a young wide receiver corps going into the 2008 season...enters the year with 140 career receptions and 25 touchdowns…needs 53 receptions to break former wide receiver Tramon Douglas’ career reception mark of 193…is 10 touchdowns away from setting Grambling State’s career touchdown mark for wide receivers…a quiet leader who’s an All-American Candidate…will enter the season as one of the top wide receivers in the SWAC and the Football Championship Subdivision…has a reputation for making the big play when called upon…talented athlete who made several one-handed grabs last season in traffic has posted a GPA of 4.0 in seven-of-eight semesters while enrolled at Grambling State...possesses the highest GPA on the team…is tied for 11th among SWAC All-Time receiving leaders with an 11-touchdown performance last season... currently ranks 13th among the SWAC’s career receiving leaders with 2,412 yards…has caught at least one pass in 26 consecutive games dating back to his freshman season...enters the 2007 season ranked as the 7th best receiver in the Football Championship Subdivision by the The Sports Network.

JUNIOR SEASON (2006) 
Led the Tigers in receiving yards with 789 and caught a team-high 11 touchdowns...finished 34th nationally and led the SWAC with 5.09 receptions per game this season...ranked 33rd among Division I-AA receivers and second in SWAC in receiving yards with 71.7 yards per game...tied for second place in scoring with 11 (6.2 ppg) touchdowns among SWAC leaders...recorded his first 100-yard performance of the year on five catches against Alabama A&M…scored the game’s opening touchdown against NCAA Division I and Conference USA foe Houston on Sept. 16…caught a season-high 10 receptions for 145 yards and two touchdowns versus SWAC West Champion Arkansas-Pine Bluff in the inaugural Delta Classic 4 Literacy on Oct. 14…followed up his strong performance against UAPB a week later with eight receptions for 117 yards and two touchdowns against Jackson State in GSU’s home opener... scored at least one touchdown in the team’s final three games…displayed his versatility by playing cornerback against Alcorn State in the team’s season finale on Dec. 2 and recorded one tackle…received 2006 Bayou Classic Leadership Award and honored by the Sheridan Broadcast Network for his work in the classroom.
