The Bishop Arts Theater Center is the perfect setting for passionate fans of Smooth Jazz here in Dallas and Fort Worth. Every seat in the venue is within 9 rows of the stage, with sensational acoustics, unobstructed site lines and world class performers…it’s destined to be the hottest destination in Texas for Jazz! Kicking off February 7, 2009, the series will feature intimate live performances in the breathtaking 170 seat venue. Touring hours for the theater are Monday through Friday from 10:00 am until 4:00pm.

The series will feature 2 shows for each performance date with each artist performing one hour or more. Capitalizing on the up close and personal atmosphere, guests will be able to ask questions and a photo opportunity will be provided prior to the 7:00 p.m. show only. Guests must arrive early for this opportunity. Show times are 7:00 pm and 9:45 pm. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.

The lobby area of the new Bishop Arts Theater Center has been transformed into an eclectic fine arts gallery. Nationally acclaimed artist, Frank Frazier serves as curator and presents monthly exhibits that feature not only his works but also works from other nationally celebrated sculptors, muralists and visual artists.

Individual ticket prices are available at $62.50 for 7 p.m. shows and $57.50 for 9:45 p.m. shows. Individual tickets purchased for the 7 p.m. show include cocktails and an interview with the artist.
